HelloBC® Listings Program

The HelloBC® Listings Program connects consumers to tourism products they may want to experience while visiting BC.

Tourism businesses, including Activities, Attractions, Golf, Ski, Transportation, Events and Accommodations can purchase a listing on HelloBC.comExternal site link which includes its network of international websites for North America, the UK, Germany, Australia, Japan, South Korea and our French-language website.

Accommodation properties that are inspected and approved can also purchase a listing in the Approved Accommodations Guide as well as apply for highway signage, an Approved Accommodation sign and be a part of the HelloBC Reservation and Special Offer Programs. Additionally, businesses may rack their brochures and enjoy representation at BC Visitor Centres and through 1-800 HELLO BC.

Tourism BC’s HelloBC® Listings Program provides tourism businesses with exposure to millions of consumers whom they might not otherwise reach. This includes exposure to over 9 million visitors to the HelloBC.com worldwide website network, Tourism BC’s call centre and over 100 Visitor Centres.

Base listings include:

  • Business name
  • Contact information
  • A weblink to your website
  • A 100-word description
  • Special offers
  • One category choice (winery, horseback riding, etc.)
  • Two photographs
  • One video
  • Hours of operation
  • Admission pricing
  • A map pinpointing your location
  • Information regarding your services, amenities, facilities, policies and restrictions
  • Free Event Listing

    Enhancements, such as more photographs, email and services descriptions can be purchased at an additional cost.

Approved Accommodations

Base listings include:

  • Business name
  • Contact information
  • A 100-word online description and a 40-word print description
  • One ‘accommodation category’ choice
  • One video
  • Charges and fees
  • A map pinpointing your location
  • Information regarding your services, amenities, facilities, policies and restrictions
  • Free Event Listing

    Print and online enhancements can be purchased at an additional cost. 

Festivals and Events(No Charge)

Base listings include:

  • Business name
  • Contact information
  • A weblink to your website
  • A 100-word description
  • One ‘event theme’ choice
  • Two photographs
  • One video
  • Hours of operation
  • Admission pricing
  • A map pinpointing your location
  • Information regarding your services, amenities, facilities, policies and restrictions

What are the enrollment deadlines?

Enrollment for Activities, Attractions, Golf, Ski and Transportation businesses begins each year in November and runs year-round.

Approved Accommodation enrollment runs June through August of each year in order to ensure placement in the printed Approved Accommodation Guide.

Enrollment in the online portion of the program is ongoing throughout the year, with program pricing charged on a January through December basis (so the earlier you enroll, the more value you receive). You may also update your information whenever you like.
